T-SHIRTS SOLD OUT NOW

All the Bob Dylan Encyclopedia t-shirts have now been sold, so I have removed the PayPal "Buy Now" button. I'd like to thank everyone who bought one, and especially those who wrote to say how pleased they were by the quality when they'd received them - and also those who tried to buy one but found that they were too late for the particular size of t-shirt they wanted.

ENCYCLOPEDIA T-SHIRT ALMOST SOLD OUT!

The new t-shirt is now almost sold out. As of 19 January, 6pm GMT, there are NO Extra Large t-shirts left, and NO large . . . and just THREE Small. Please do not place any new orders for Extra Large or Large. Thank you.
To buy any of the remaining SMALL t-shirts, just click on PayPal's BUY NOW button you'll find somewhere near the top of the left-hand column.
Thank you, to everyone who responded, for your custom...

INTERESTING E-BAY ITEM...

There's an item just gone up on eBay -
RARE DYLAN REGGAE, DUB CDs!!!!
Item # 290197995256

These are CDs I already have, as it happens, but it reminded me that the Bob Dylan 'I And I (Reggae Remix)', released in 2004, surely set exactly the precedent claimed for Mark Ronson's not-very-interesting remix of 'Most Likely You Go Your Way'...

McTELL, ELVIS & ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK

In mentioning the forthcoming paperback of The Bob Dylan Encyclopedia the other day, I forgot to say that unfortunately the UK paperback of Hand Me My Travelin' Shoes: In Search Of Blind Willie McTell will not now be published in July as originally mooted but on October 6 this year instead (by Bloomsbury). There is no reason for this delay beyond its theoretical sales and marketing advantage.

Meanwhile not only is today the day on which Elvis Presley would become 73 years old, but I've just learnt that, by a neat coincidence, he shares his birthday with the co-writer of 'Rock Around The Clock', songwriter Max Freedman. And if Elvis' theoretical age of 73 makes you feel old, consider this: 'Rock Around The Clock' was co-written by a man born in 1893!!
