SLOWLY INTO AUTUMN

NEWS: Sarah and I have decided to offer a new group of just three themed Dylan Discussion Weekend Breaks this coming September.

This time there are specific main discussion topics fixed for each weekend:

FRIDAY 10 to SUNDAY 12 - DYLAN, THE BLUES & THE BIBLE
FRIDAY 17 to SUNDAY 19 - DYLAN & THE ROMANTIC POETS
FRIDAY 24 to SUNDAY 26 - DYLAN, PLAGIARISM & BOOTLEGS

The weekends run from Friday afternoon till Sunday morning, and include terrific food, good local wines, en suite accommodation and the evening discussions.

Called Slowly Into Autumn, these weekends should still be offering beautiful weather and we hope to meet more readers of this blog, if any can make it.

Full details, including testimonials from those who've been, are here.

Michael, I'm wondering if any, or how many of the Dylan shows in France you plan to attend?
I notice he's up to as many as four songs playing guitar in recent performances.
The clips on you-tube have been scant, and of poor audio quality so far this time out.

Actually, it's now doubtful that I can get to any of them, but even if I can I certainly shan't be recording them or putting anything up on YouTube. (You may not have meant that anyway, I realise...)

Just listened to Dylan's 6 June performance of Workingman's Blues-good to hear him sing and play the harp with conviction & presence

I notice Dylan was on guitar for five songs in Prague.
