COMPETITION: WHAT NEXT AFTER FRYING AN EGG?

Announcing a small competition:

Inspired by one of the entries in The Bob Dylan Encyclopedia, and also featured on the audio-book recording  - 'Frying An Egg On Stage'  -  I'm offering a prize of a free signed copy of the Bob Dylan Encyclopedia Greatest Hits CD to the person who in my judgement answers this question best:

"In Japan in 1986 Dylan reportedly said this: ‘Somebody comes to see you for two hours or one and a half hours, whatever it is . . . I mean, they’ve come to see you. You could be doing anything up on that stage. You could be frying an egg or hammering a nail into a piece of wood.’ "

Apart from playing music, what would be the most entrancing thing Bob Dylan could do on stage?

Answers by the end of Friday May 13th please, to michael@michaelgray.net. Please include your name and address.

I've got all those tracks, and don't collect autographs, but clearly the answer would be Dylan acting Fagin.
If not it would be some other role.

Meant to say Shylock, it's late.

I'd like to hear dylan talk to his audience for at least an
hour. No songs, just tell us how appreciated we are, and how much we mean to him. and then we could all as one tell him to f..k himself

I don't know which of these suggestions makes me feel most uncomfortable. I'm puzzled by a tone of inappropriateness most unusual on these pages.

Meanwhile real competition entries should be sent, as the blogpost asks, to michael@michaelgray.net, so that as with any other competition, people don't see the other entries until the contest closes and winning entries are published. Thanks.

Dear Michael
sorry if my tone upset you. It was, of course a typo..it should have read tell him to FAKE himself.
We all know how much he loves his fans

It didn't upset me. It surprised me.

These comments are either smart assed or uncomfortably close to anti-Semitism. Were they written by people who value the man?
