OCCASIONAL PHOTOS NO. 32

This morning. In the garden. Even the South-West of France sometimes must have to be snowy.

You live in a lovely spot! We are supposed to get freezing rain and snow tonight, but that's the norm in Canada.

The master at work. I can always tell when he's at the apex of his considerable power, because of the involentery chill which will run down my spine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMwge99gYGo&feature=related

Palm tree in the snow reminds me of that incongruous image of the giraffe in the country fair in the movie I'm Not There. That weird juxtaposition of things that don't belong together but somehow match is part of the liberating influence we're all into, and Mr. Dylan is hardwired to deliver in a desperate flow of imagery often in defiance of the determined world.

Dear Ross
Love your palm-tree-in-snow = giraffe-at-county-fair: a bullseye of a perception - made especially pleasing by the fact that, as Sarah remarked when she read your comment, there's a distinct resemblance between a palm tree and a giraffe.
