The Robert J stamp photo doesn't do him justice. The original photo is far better (even leaving aside the cigarette alteration) or am I imagining things? Perhaps it is because his head is “shaped” to hold the cigarette that is no longer there..but whatever, it just doesn't look right to me.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely. The only version less accurate would have been an in-court artist's impression.I think they should have let Robert Crumb do the drawing.
